Eligibility

To join the credit union, you must meet the membership requirements as set forth in the credit union's Bylaws or established from time to time by the credit union's Board of Directors. You authorize us to check your account, credit, and employment history, and obtain reports from third parties, including credit reporting agencies, to verify your eligibility for the accounts and services you request.

You are eligible for membership if you fit into the following categories:

  • City of Tyler Employee (Full or Part-time)

  • North East Texas Public Health District Employee

  • Seal Corporation Employee

  • TeleTouch Employee

  • Global Mailing Employee

  • Anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Smith County

  • Family member of the previously mentioned employees

How to Join

Once eligibility is verified, we will require two forms of identification.

  • One should include your picture, description, and signature. (i.e. Driver's License)

  • The second must be your Social Security Card

$26 is required on the day you open up an account. There is a $1.00 new account fee, and $25.00 is your "share" of the credit union. This $25.00 is non-refundable ONLY if you close your account before one year.
